Small Groups

Small Groups are groups of 8-12 people who meet weekly in peoples homes, area businesses and on campus.

The Benefit of Small Groups

We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life he intends for us. Within small groups you will find meaningful friendships, spiritual growth and opportunities to serve as you share life together.

Sharing life within community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why small groups exist – to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.

What To Expect

Each Small Group has a leader, who serves as a facilitator, and a host, who graciously opens up their home.  The group typically has snacks and drinks and a time of fellowship at the beginning so that everyone can get to know one another.  The study is a Rise Church approved video and is typically less than 20 minutes.  Each video is a lesson from a book of the Bible. After the video the leader will guide the group through a series of question based on the teaching.  There is also time to ask questions regarding the topic of the day.  At the conclusion of the study there is a time of prayer before the group concludes.

Groups typically meet once a week.

What You Need To Know

Each Small Group is unique.  You can discover what makes each group unique in our Small Group Portal (i.e. what book of the Bible they are learning or if they are prepared to accommodate children or there are pets in the house).

We provide the materials you need. You just show up. There are two sessions of Small Group:
  • Session One is October – December
  • Session Two is January – May
